How do I book a reservation on blinkhotels?

Booking a place to stay has never been so easy. Simply go to blinkhotels and begin a search by location, district, landmark, airport, or directly type in a property's name. Once you find the place you'd like to stay, you can check rates and availability and book your stay directly with the property by clicking on the 'Book It Now' button for your choice’s Stay Details.

Alternatively, you may have landed on a hotel website that is Powered by INNsight. You can use the same registered My INNsight account to easily book your reservation or elect to book your stay as a guest without registering for an account.

How do I receive the confirmation for a reservation?

You will receive a reservation confirmation email as soon as you complete your reservation through the INNsight booking engine. If you do not receive your confirmation, check your spam folder. If you run into any issues while making your reservation on any hotel website Powered by INNsight, feel free to contact us, and we will gladly help you retrieve your reservation.

How do I cancel a reservation?

You can simply click here, and you will be taken to the Cancellation Request page. You can also access the Cancellation form from My INNsight. Simply fill out the Reservation ID from your reservation, and we will pull up your reservation. You can cancel one or any/all of your booked rooms for multiple room reservations. Note that you will only be able to cancel from this form if your reservation has not violated the property's Cancellation Policy. If you are trying to cancel a reservation that is within the property's cancellation policy, you will be required to contact the INNkeeper immediately to cancel directly.

What type of data does INNsight collect about me?

We take your privacy and the security of your details very seriously. We collect data about your usage to improve our site better and tailor your search results to find the perfect place to stay for you. Also, we share preference details and your contact and billing details with INNkeepers via secured transmission channels to help INNkeepers provide the richest hospitality experience. To further review our data collection and transmission policy, please visit both our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Agreement.

How can I contact the INNkeeper?

We've made it incredibly easy for you to interact with the INNkeeper directly. You can easily find the phone number, address, or even email address of the INNkeeper, or you can 'Ask a Question' using the INNbox, blinkhotels's own internal messaging system.

What if I can't remember my password?

If you cannot remember your password, simply go to the Sign In page by clicking here and click on the 'Forgot your Password' link below the password prompt. You will be prompted for your email address. We will immediately send you an email that will allow you to reset your password.

I registered but am yet to receive a registration confirmation via email?

Suppose you have already registered but have not received the registration activation email. In that case, it is highly likely that emails coming from the INNsight postmaster are being misdirected to your SPAM folder. Simply add @blinkhotels email addresses to your approved sender list, and you should begin to receive notification emails from the INNsight platform.

What if I do not want to receive messages?

If you do not want to receive email messages from INNsight, simply update your email notification preferences in My Account.

Who do I contact if I have questions about my reservation?

We have built INNsight so travelers can interface with INNkeepers directly. If you have an issue with your reservation or would like to make special requests, simply send a message to the INNkeeper via INNbox. For any problems you might have with blinkhotels, do not hesitate to contact our helpdesk by emailing help@blinkhotels.

What is an Inn?

An Inn is simply a place to stay. We lump all types of places to stay from hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, vacation rentals, apartments, lodges, campsites, and inns eponymously into this definition. INNsight has been developed to connect INNkeepers of all types to customers.

Credit Cards & Privacy

Why do I need to give my credit card details?

blinkhotels only requests credit card details to confirm your reservation with the INN on your behalf. INNsight never charges your credit card. The INN can check (pre-authorize) your credit card to ensure sufficient funds are available. However, you will not be charged. The INN will only charge your credit card if you have requested a pre-paid room or if the cancellation policy detailed by the INN has not been adhered to.

Does the INN need a deposit or a payment in advance?

Most INNs do not require an advance payment or deposit. If an INN does require prepayment, the INN will detail such a policy under its Property Policies and in your confirmation email.

Which credit cards can I use to complete my booking?

MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover can be used on our website. It is possible that the hotel does not accept one or more of these card types. Before making your reservation, please check at the bottom of the hotel policies section for "Accepted Credit Cards�.

Can I pay for my stay in advance?

Most places to stay do not require prepayment, so if you are inclined to pay in advance, please contact the INNkeeper after your booking and make the necessary arrangements. You can find the INNkeeper's contact information in your confirmation email, the Property's Profile Page, or online at My INNsight.

Can I pay for my stay at check-in with a different credit card than the one used to make the reservation?

In most cases, the place to stay will accept payment for the stay on a different card or in cash. Please ensure that the property accepts the new card type or cash.

Are my credit card details safe?

Your credit card information is transmitted to us through a secure server. We follow Payment Card Industry Standards (PCI) and use the latest and most secure encryption technology available, which encrypts all of your personal and credit card details. The encryption method used is the industry standard "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) technology. Security industry leader GoDaddy.com has issued our SSL certificate. We also adhere to the European Union’s strict General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR.

What if I forgot my password or am having difficulty logging in?

If you cannot remember your password, simply go to the Sign In page by clicking here and click on the 'Forgot your Password' link below the password prompt. You will be prompted for your email address. We will immediately send you an email that will allow you to reset your password.

How can I register my hotel with blinkhotels?

Fill in the "INNkeeper Inquiry" form and click on "Send.? Click here for the INNkeeper Inquiry form. Your property will be evaluated for participation. The next step is to sign our property agreement and finalize your participation by uploading information into the INNsight Property Management System.

Does it cost anything to register my property?

It's free to register with blinkhotels! You pay ZERO commissions! That's right: Zero, 0, Nada, Nothing!

What's the commission rate?

We have an industry-leading pricing model. We call it The ZERO Commission Model! While many other hotel reservation agencies charge anywhere between 15-30% per room night, INNsight charges 0% commission on the total daily room rate. This intuitive model keeps you, the INNkeeper, from paying egregious commissions and squeezing profit margins. We know what it's like to be bullied. We were once INNkeepers too! And now we're going to fight back!

How do I update availability, rates, and other information?

You can update availability and rates online via the INNsight Property Management System. Click here to access your PMS.

How do I receive the confirmation for a reservation?

You will receive the confirmation by fax (after a booking is made online) and via email. Once a booking is made on INNsight, the guest information will be populated in your Property Management System Graphical Room Inventory Display (GRID). You can securely access the reservation details at any time by clicking on the guest's name in the GRID.

Where and when does the guest pay for his/her invoice?

The Guest transacts directly with the INNkeeper. The INNkeeper will charge the guest directly either at the time of booking or at the time of check out. All credit card charges are completed by the registered INNkeeper directly.

What can I do to receive more business through blinkhotels?

It is vital to offer the best room rates and the best possible availability. Furthermore, having a truthful and informative hotel description, including actual photos of your hotel, will help us sell your rooms. Additionally, we believe that you should consider allowing blinkhotels to host your standalone website to drive more traffic to your business, reduce customer acquisition costs, and keep travelers happy with your booking process. What is a Standalone Website Powered by INNsight?

blinkhotels's technology has been enabled to support your standalone hotel website. Many hotel websites are lackluster and offer rudimentary reservation booking functionality at best, but with a website hosted by blinkhotels, you leave booking technology to the technology experts so that you can focus on what you do best, that's running your hotel. A website Powered by INNsight means that you will have a fully transactional bookable site managed through your My INNsight account and a powerful Content Management System (CMS). When you receive a booking on your own hotel's website, it will appear to the guest as if the reservation was made directly through your hotel's site. You will receive a fax and email confirmation. The booking will be displayed in the GRID in your My INNsight Property Management System or directly interfaced with your third-party Property Management System.

How much does a Standalone Website Powered by INNsight cost?

We offer three internet marketing packages: Lite, Basic, and Premium. All three packages are anchored by a professional website that is Powered by INNsight. We have a team of experienced designers ready to design a fully customized website for your property. The monthly subscription cost for the Basic Package Powered by INNsight is $399. Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. Please contact us to inform us of any changes, and we will ensure that your subscription is converted. Please note that changes may require some time, and subscription fees may be prorated based on the date your change request is undertaken.

What happens to my hotel website’s content and data if I unsubscribe from INNsight?

Your hotel’s website Powered by INNsight, is driven by our proprietary software stack, a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service. Once disabled, your website will immediately cease to function. Any content that is written by INNsight’s copywriting team is protected by international copyright law. You will need to find another provider to create a new website for your hotel. INNsight stands by its customers and will assist with any transition but cannot guarantee that a third-party will maintain traffic, weblinks, and page rank once transitioned away.

How long does it take to design and build a new hotel website?

Since we custom design every website for our clients, the onboarding process does take time. We listen to your needs and gather requirements to produce a website design to your liking. This process may take time if several iterations are required. If, however, your design requirements are straightforward, and you can produce the rich content (photos, videos, and media) that we need immediately, we can turn around a brand new website within 7-10 business days.
